Sometimes I shudder, when I realize that I have been banging out this column longer than many of the readers have been alive. . .Thirty-Five years. . . ugh! So, if any of these comments, from month to month, aren't up to what you feel they should be, please remember they are the rambling rumbles of an old man.
NEWSBITS AND PIECES TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR: Philatelists who are also phoolers and origamians (paper pholders) may be interested in a series of stamps, featuring folded animals and such. Would you like to go to Japan for a magic convention? The P.C.A.M. are thinking of such a locale for their 1976 gathering. Cost would be $850 plus registration. I understand he has two or three more such talk show interviews. . .All of which is great for Ed and for magic.
Dirk Gingell, 20221 Gilmore St., Canoga Park, Calif. 91306, is on the lookout for a set of Nesto type Multiplying Candles (for the right hand). So if you have such a set and would like to sell them, drop Dirk a line and get them off your hand (right hand).
If all the money you accumulated during that rush of Christmas shows is wearing a hole in your shoe box, tea caddy, or sock. . .wherever you hoard it. . . Here are a number of things that may help to lighten the load and save wear and tear on the cash container:
