MARK WILSON NAMED MAGICIAN OF THE DECADE
Talk about Magician of the Century and there are strong arguments for Houdini, Thurston and Blackstone. Talk about the past decade -- or 1974 or 1971 --and the magician to be recognized has to be MARK WILSON. The Show Business Shrine Club recently commended Mark for these past ten years by naming him Magician of the Decade. And, of course, this fine national fraternity is not the only one to recognize Mark's magical genius. The Academy of Magical Arts has twice named Mark as Magician of the year (1971 and 1974). He is the only magician to be so honored. Looking on as Mark received the presentation was his lovely wife, Nani Darnell, and television star, Jack Albertson.
