MAGIC CEREAL BOX
EFFECT: A cereal box is shown to be filled with raisins. A bowlful of cereal is shown and covered with a cloth. When the cloth is removed, in place of the cereal are raisins. The cereal is found to be in the box.
PREPARATION: As an example, we'll use a small Raisin Bran box. Buy two such boxes, empty them and do the following: open and cut off the bottom and top flaps of each box. Then cut along two of the four vertical edges of the box, so that you have a piece consisting of the front and one side panel of the box. Do the same with the second box so that you now have two identical pieces, consisting of the front and side panel of the respective box.
Now take one of the pieces and turn it upside down and attach to the other piece, forming a cereal box. (Tape the inside.) The results is a box with two fronts, one right side up and the other upside down.
Take the top flaps from the two boxes, and attach to either end of the gim-micked box so that it has a top at either, end. This can be done with tape hinges..
Inside the box, about halfway down, tape a piece of cardboard, dividing the box into two sections. Now fill one half with bran flakes, close the flaps and turn the box upside down. In this half load the raisins and close flaps. Right side faces audience.
