Every so often a really great magic presentation is seen and our hobby and art is raised to its proper place in the realm of the theatrical. On March 16th at the Brooklyn Academy of Music the Parent Assembly of The Society of American Magicians held its annual show. This year instead of using a number of Magicians the show consisted of two feature acts and Bob Rollin's novelty balloon act sandwiched in between. Felix Green-field, producer of the show, was the M.C. and sur-prised the audience by introducing screen and TV star, George Montgomery from the audience. The show was opened by our own Tops editor, Neil Foster and company, (the company being his charming wife Jeanne.) A very nice stage setting and many bright props gave promise of the delights to come and come they did. I really cannot recall a more delightful forty-five minutes of fun, beautiful presentation, and graceful handling of equipment in a lifetime of Magic. Congratulations Neil, and don't cut any of this copy as it is my report on a real artist. The second half of the show was given by Milbourne Christopher and his company of assistants presenting a good portion of his Illusion show, Christopher's Wonders. His show has been completely reported in earlier issues of this magazine and suffice to say at this time it greatly added to a really fine evening of magic.
