Doc Swan Added To 76th Get Together added 9 May 2013
Sideshow superstar Doc Swan has been performing for nearly 40 years at just about every venue you can imagine including Walt Disney World, Atlantic City, 5 Six Flags Parks, Universal Studios, Spooky World, and countless circuses, fairs, and festivals. Punctuated with puns, sight-gags and TONS of tongue-in-cheek humor, no two shows are ever exactly alike. An accomplished juggler, magician, and escape artist, his shows maintain a fast and furious pace that is full of comedy. "The crowd just gets and loves everything he does. It’s amazing" says Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller fame. Whether he is he telling his life story while making 13 different hats out of one piece of felt, walking barefoot on crushed glass with one audience member riding piggy-back (and the rest howling with laughter), or doing some mindreading where Doc makes sure no one tampers with his prediction by stapling it to his forehead, you can bet that Doc's show will be one of the most entertaining and interactive acts that take place with the Get Together audience.

For those who did not know a fire this past winter devasted part of the Colon mainstreet. The cleanup process is underway and our hope and prayers are with the businesses that were damaged during this terrible event. The fire marshal determined that the fire which started in Curly's Bar was caused by a kitchen appliance.
The fire then spread to neighboring buildings including Prudential Realty and Five Star Pizza. The Prudential Realty building was destroyed while Five Star Pizza suffered smoke damage. Five Star plans to reopen Memorial Day weekend.

Abbotts 1000th Download added 24 April 2013
When people think of Abbott Magic they usually think of long time tradition in the magic industry. They rarely think of Abbotts as cutting edge on the information highway. However, behind that facade of white skeletons on a black building and wooden bellhops finding selected cards, Abbotts now provides an unprecidented 1000 downloads for its online customers - and well over 800 are $4 or less. Our 1000th download was something very dear to our hearts and very hard to find - Abbotts first catalog in 1934.
Welcome to the Magic Capital of the World.
