Jeff McBride
A three time award winner at the International Grand Prix of Magic in Monte Carlo, is widely recognized as a foremost innovator and most exciting performer in contemporary magic. Naming him "Vegas' Best" Magician several years ago, the Las Vegas Review Journal wrote: "Light years ahead of the pack. McBride is easily the most exciting and mesmerizing magician I've seen in years." For several years, McBride headlined at Caesars Magical Empire in Las Vegas, where he was voted critics' choice as Best Magician in Las Vegas. He is also a three-time Guiness World Record holder. McBride's magic has been featured on every major television network, with the most recent appearances on The World Magic Awards and Masters of Illusion on MyNetwork, and judging VH-1's Celebracadabra! and on A&E's Mindfreak with Criss Angel. Puck has been featured at such venues as The City Hall Theater in Hamilton Bermuda to The Magic & Mischief Theater in Orlando, Florida. He also performs on the high seas for luxury cruise lines like Holland America , Norwegian, Carnival, and Princess. He's a regular performer at Monday Night Magic, New York's longest running magic show as well as the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.You can tell by watching Puck perform that he truly enjoys what he does. Boris Wild
Boris Wild is one of the most renowned French magicians in the world. He is an international performer, author, creator and lecturer. His performances have drawn thousands of spectators all over the world: London, New York, Las Vegas, Monte Carlo, Sydney, Tokyo... His creativity and original approach of magic allow him to perform for the biggest companies in the most prestigious places of the five continents, such as "The Magic Castle" in Hollywood where he has already performed more than 100 shows. In 2008, Boris was chosen to be the official magician at the evening gala of the World Economic Forum in Davos which gathers the most influential people of the planet. Boris got the title of "French Champion of Magic" by winning the Grand Prix AFAP. He was also awarded at the FISM World Championships of Magic and the Monte Carlo Magic Stars. Scott Alexander
His magic reached millions on NBC's this season of America's Got Talent where he advanced all the way with his large stage illusions. With articles in People Magazine and Nations Business Magazine, the Oprah Show took notice and Scott was invited by Oprah Winfrey to make a guest appearance on her show to speak about how he uses his magic to help others set goals. Scott had the honor of headlining on the Las Vegas Strip at Caesars Palace for over seven years and four thousand performances of large grand illusions fused with stand-up comedy magic. Scott Alexander's groundbreaking creativity caught the eye of Norwegian Cruise Lines and they commissioned Scott to create, direct the magic and star in "Elements," a million dollar stage spectacular. It is currently their most popular show and is in production on five ships. Scott's magic has been featured on The Sify Channel, Discovery Channel, NBC and Showtime. Reed Sisters
The Reed Sisters, Jessica, Shayna, and Mandy have amazed audiences throughout the world. These young ladies have been performing magic since the age of three when their Grandfather, Larry McMechan, taught them. In those years they have been featured in numerous newspaper articles, Television specials, and magazines. One of the most prestigious magazines is the International Brotherhood of Magicians monthly magazine "The Linking Ring" on which they were featured on the cover. They recently performed as the headlining act in France. The Reed Sisters have also been featured in a Japanese documentary that aired in Japan for several years, as well as many television appearances here in the United States. These three ladies have combined their award winning acts to form a show that has become known as "The Sister Act". In this high energy act they combine illusions, comedy, drama, and dance to make it fun for all ages. Denny Haney
A graduate from the CHAVEZ college of magic in 1963, Denny tutored under Howard Schwarzman in the mid sixties. It was during this time when he performed before the Parent Assembly of SAM and the world of magic was introduced to Denny. In the seventies Denny put together the Denny & Lee show with his wife and for nearly 20 years they were booked solid at 250 plus stage shows per year and were one of the highest paid magic acts in the country. In the nineties Denny decided to retire from the hectic road schedule and opened a magic shop in Baltimore and later a second store in Las Vegas. Today Denny performs a few times at the Magic Castle and also at select magic conventions - and this year he has selected the Abbott Magic Get Together as one of those performances and we are so very please he did.

Trent James
Trent James became fascinated with magic at the age of 5. Now 15, he has already won numerous awards for his craft, including First Place Stage-Texas Association of Magicians 2012, First Place Stage-International Battle of Magicians 2012, First place and People's Choice-Abbott's Magic Get Together 2011... Performing from Chicago to Las Vegas to Houston to Norfolk and many points in between, Trent James is no stranger to the stage. This past year, he was one of the chosen few youth performers to present his act at both the International Brotherhood of Magicians and Society of American Magicians annual conventions. His dynamic personality and original magic combine to create a memorable experience.

Doc Swan

Andy Dallas
To describe the magic routines of Andy Dallas, magic reviewers have used words like elegant, moving, emotional, inspiring and timeless. Also he is an award winning comedy writer and was in 6 movies. He was the first to teach magic in the US for college credit.

Jeanette strives to use the art of the impossible to provoke questions for the audience to contemplate about their perceptions. She crafts her shows drawing on her studies in philosophy, psychology, and art creating a unique experience for the audience. She fuses these influences into an elegant and fun performance that creates lasting memories. Jeanette has lectured across the country on the ontological nature of magic and the creative process. She has also produced and performed in numerous public runs of her show including her most recent sold-out run of her one-woman show, Lumia hosted at an art gallery. Mark Holstein
Well known Illusionist Mark Holstein makes a special appearance at the 2013 Get Together as the Master of Ceremonies for the "A Taste of Chicago Magic Matinee". Mark, along with his wife Sue, have toured the United States with their illusion act, "The Holsteins" and are a Magic Get Together favorite, having appeared together as Get Together performers in 1992, 1994, 1997, 1998, 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2011. Mark continues a tradition of magic handed down from Percy Abbott,Werner Dornfeld, and William Smetak - that tradition being stage manager of the Abbott Magic Get Together. Mark Holstein holds the distinction of being the first magician to win the Jerry Conklin Abbott Magic Family Award. His wife Sue is the daughter of Bill Smetak, the legendary magician and former Abbott stage manager of whom that Get Together stage has been named in honor of. Mark also is an author of magic and has penned several articles and cover stories for Magic Magazine (my favorite being his article on De Yip Loo, the famous Chinese magician who performed several times at the Get Together).

Joe Diamond
Joe has an amazing understanding of the workings of the strange & bizarre, to the point where he defies the boundaries between what we assume can and can't be done. In 2012, He bent metal objects in people’s homes over LIVE RADIO! He stopped his heart for over five minutes through meditation alone. He found a ticket hidden in the Historic Woodstock Opera House in under six minutes. He was the first person to make it through the world’s largest corn maze BLINDFOLDED! He even found a coin hidden in a graveyard in under 20 minutes while blindfolded! Joe was interviewed for a Documentary film called, “Make Believe.” It has gone on to win “Best Documentary” at the LA Film Festival! He has performed in, and emceed “Nothin’ Up My Sleeve” the Chicago areas’ largest yearly magic show! This year Joe will be joining up with some of the best entertainers from Chicago for a very special event called "A Taste of Chicago Magic Matinee"

John Sturk

Gordon Miller
Gordon has been involved with Abbotts Magic and the Magic Get Together since the re-birth of the New Tops in 1961. Gordon succeeded his good friend Neil Foster as editor of New Tops Magazine and has appeared as a performer at more Magic Get Togethers than anyone else, breaking the old record set by Karrell Fox. Gordon's smooth style and gentle humor are displayed each year as he traditionally leads off the Wednesday evening show with his unique and novel acts which signals the official start of Get Together Shows. In addition to being one of the top magic men in his field, Gordon has authored several books on magic (including one of my favorites, the Abbott Compendium of Card Magic which is a best seller at the Abbott Magic shop) and also is a Special Service veteran of the military.
